WEDDED IN IOWA

The marriage of Mr. Fred S. Whiting to Miss Emma Allum, says the DesMoines MAIL AND TIMES, occurred on Tuesday evening at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Robesky, Rev. Wishard officiating. Owing to the sickness of Mrs. Robesky, it was a very quiet affair, only the relatives being present. After the ceremony the happy couple repaired to the home of Captain and Mrs. Whiting, where a large and elegant reception was given in their honor.

About seventy guests extended congratulations, viewed the beautiful presents and discussed choice refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Whiting, Jr. immediately go to housekeeping in a cozy little cottage near Twelfth and Woodland Avenue, and have the best wishes of a host of friends.

The bride was the recipient of a large and costly list of wedding presents. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Thomas Allum and sister of Assistant Postmaster L. W. Allum of this city.
