bullet  General Notes:

fPeninah Arabelle "Belle" (Allum) Robesky, 1853-1945, is buried in Union Cemetery in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. California death info provides her name as "Anna Belle Allen" and her mother's maiden name as "Wallace." If the latter is true, Thomas Allum's first wife Matilda would have been "Matilda Wallace." At this time, we do not know Matilda's parentage, but her mother's first name (perhaps a nickname) may have been "Belle."

A photo of the entrance to Union Cemetery was added to the Find-A-Grave web site by Sharon, a Kern County lookup volunteer, after I requested, and was sent, pertinent information about the death of Peninah Arabelle "Belle" (Allum) Robesky. The photo can be viewed at www.findagrave.com
