Death Certificate: Ellen's son-in-law, Charles A. Briggs, provided information for her death certificate. Upon Ellen's death, she had outlived her husband Conrad by ten years. As a widow, she resided with their daughter Lola (and Charles), thus perhaps Charles' knowledge of the names of Ellen's parents and their locations of birth. Ellen, called "Ella," is buried with an individual stone that matches her husband's in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monroe Township, Richland County, Ohio. At the time of Ellen's death the cemetery was known simply as Lucas.
