Cemetery 2 Jemima BARNHART

  General Notes:

Photo: Originally interred in Supler Cemetery, Richhill Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, the grave and gravestone of Charles Allum's wife Jemima--along with other stones and gravesites at Supler Cemetery--were moved to Enon Cemetery in 1981. Jemima (Barnhart) Allum (1795-1859) was estranged from Charles at the time of her death. Presumably, for that reason she was not buried in the Allum Cemetery on his property.

In 1964, the Supler Cemetery was located for Shirley and DeeAnna by Patty Houston. Patty noted three Allum-related inscriptions, including Jemima's.
