Photo: Lucinda (Swearingen) Holman, called "Lucy," was born in Ohio, removed to Iowa, then Kansas, then back to Iowa, and lived the remainder of her life in Appanoose County where this photo was taken by C. A. Wales in Centerville. The original vintage photo was given to DeeAnna Allum Granston in 1965 by Dorothy Woodruff McQuie, 1907-1981, Lucinda's great granddaughter.

Lucinda married William HOLMAN. (William HOLMAN was born on March 15, 1817 in Kentucky and died on July 20, 1870 in Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa.)
