Photo: Calvin Martin Allum, 1923-2003, and his wife, Leona (Frank) Allum, 1925-2006, posed for a photo in their later years. Both Calvin and Leona were born, lived, died and are buried in South Dakota. Married in 1947, they became parents of two children, a daughter and a son.

Chamberlain - Funeral services for Leona Allum, 80, of Chamberlain, will be Friday, March 3, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ in Chamberlain, SD, with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Burke, SD at 2 PM. Visitation will be Thursday, March 2 from 1 to 8 PM at the Hickey-Wevik Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain. Leona passed away on February 24, 2006 at her home in Chamberlain.




OBITUARY (Calvin) from ARGUS LEADER, Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota, March 9, 2003:


Funeral services for 79 year old Calvin Allum of Chamberlain will be Monday, March 10, 2003 at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ in Chamberlain with Graveside Services at 2:00 PM at the Graceland Cemetery at Burke. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday at the Wevik Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain. He died at a Sioux Falls hospital on March 6, 2003.

Calvin married Leona Helen FRANK, daughter of Frederick FRANK Jr. and Ernestine Christine ULMER, on June 27, 1947 in Burke, Gregory County, South Dakota. (Leona Helen FRANK was born on December 5, 1925 in (Near) Herrick, Gregory County, South Dakota, died on February 24, 2006 in Chamberlain, Brule County, South Dakota and was buried on March 3, 2006 in Graceland Cemetery, Burke, Gregory County, South Dakota.)
