Deposition Sarah RAPER

bullet  General Notes:

Deposition: After her 9-month marriage to James Wallace -- ending due to his death in 1843 -- Sarah was required by the government to provide proof that she was his widow in order to claim his Revolutionary War pension. James' Revolutionary War pension file consists of 34 pages, of which this document is one. It is of importance to the Allum genealogy because it bears the year 1856 testimonies and signatures of Ellisabeth Allum (Ellisabeth Supler Allum) ("Elizabeth" here) and John Supler.

Was the John Supler who signed this document Ellisabeth's father John or her brother John? Both were alive in 1856.
