Photo: Hester's gravestone at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg, Jasper County, Iowa was photographed by Shirley Allum Hudlicky in 1965. The stone documents her surname as "Burnfiel," even though the name is found spelled with a "d" at the end in some census records and, presumably, other sources, including THE LOAR GENEALOGY.
