Death Certificate: An in-home accident claimed the life of Altai Mae (Allum) (East) Ford in La Jolla, San Diego County, California. The notations "probably lost balance, fell to floor" and "found March 5, 1974" are on this certificate shared by Karen Bride Kanning. Altai died on March 6.

"A little girl weighing 41 pounds, aged eight years, rode on a bicycle from Dunkirk, Ind. to Columbus, O. in two days; from there she rode on the cars to her old home in the First ward, Bellaire. Miss Elva May Allum and her father were the parties mentioned."

1974 DEATH, Altai Mae (Allum) (East) Ford, at 87 years 7 months 22 days

Cause of death: "Bronchopneumonia, bilateral; fell in home, broke left hip and right tibia" --death certificate
