  General Notes:

Photo: Samuel's stone is very different from wife Dollie's, who died in 1925, seventeen years before Samuel's own death. Both are interred in Sand Coulee Cemetery, Sand Coulee, Cascade County, Montana, along with two young sons, Walter Leroy and Stanley Russell, and an adult daughter, Josephine Ardis.
