Patent Index: This is an excerpt from "A" surnames within the 1809-1813 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Patent Index. In conjunction with Peter Riley, William Allum's name is seen on the fourth line from the bottom. In 1810 William was the Patentee for 26+ acres named "Surplusage" in Washington County, Pennsylvania; Peter Riley had been the Warrantee in the year 1789.

To date, this is the first land transaction located for William.
