Title Page: The book, THE OLD PIKE by Thomas B. Searight, is 384 pages published in Uniontown, Pennsylvania in 1894. On page 136, Charles Allum is mentioned as a wagoner on the National Road.

A "Charles Allen" is referred to on page 139 and again on page 140, one of which (if not both), should probably have been Charles "Allum".
