Photo: A marker memorializing brothers Buell Bennett "Ben" Allum, 1928-1956, and Isaac Kenton Allum, 1925-1945, is in Herrick Cemetery, Herrick, Gregory County, South Dakota. Sons of Claude Ellsworth Allum and Grace Mabel McConnell, both men served in the U. S. Navy. Isaac Kenton's body was not found or recovered; Ben is buried in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
