"Grace attended Simpson College at Indianola, Iowa, taught music and was assistant Postmistress at Colfax, Iowa where they lived. Fred was Editor of the local paper."

Notes:
The book provides Grace's date of birth as April 15, 1870 instead of April 15, 1869. It cites Fred's date of death as December 31, 1926 instead of "1925" engraved on his gravestone.
The book states that Grace died "11-18" (no year). The year "1944" is on her gravestone.
