Photo: The large Francis Fields family monument at Koszta Cemetery, Koszta, Iowa County, Iowa, documents years of birth and death for Frank's wife and some of their children. A G.A.R. stake beside the monument commemorates Frank's Civil War service. Although he is buried at Koszta Cemetery, he has no stone, and his name was not added to this large one, perhaps because he was last to pass on.
