OBITUARY
(Stewart) from an undocumented newspaper:

Stewart A. Dague, influential and highly respected citizen of South Franklin township, died yesterday morning at 11:35 o'clock at his home on the Prosperity Road after an illness of only three days. He was stricken Tuesday morning while feeding livestock.

Mr. Dague was born near Vanceville, Washington County, October 13, 1869. In his early life his parents moved to West Finley township, where the death of his mother occurred, and the care and training of a large family devolved upon him to a great degree. Mrs. Dague's father passed away 23 years ago.

The greater part of Mr. Dague's life was spent in West and East Finley townships, where he was an outstanding business man, his dealings being characterized by honesty and honor.

Mr. Dague married Sallie A. Sprowls December 22, 1892, who survives with the following children: Ruby, wife of Willis B. Haines; Opal, wife of Wallace L. Winnett; and Stewart A. Dague, Jr., at home. He leaves two grandsons, Stewart William and Gaylord Willis Haines. Ollie Dague, of Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. Ella Wyland, are brother and sister. Lawrence Dague, of Washington, and Mrs. Harry Allum, of East Finley, are half brother and sister.

In the Spring of 1921, Mr. Dague moved from East Finley to South Franklin Township where he had purchased the John Andrew farm, upon which he had made many improvements.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, December 18, at 1 o'clock, at his late home, conducted by Rev. C. E. Snoke, pastor of the Bethel Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery.
