Both became Doctors of Chiropractic. Born in Iowa, Hazel subsequently lived in South Dakota and Colorado.
Leslie was a younger brother of William Roy Cork, husband of Hazel's elder sister, Hattie May. "Roy" and Hattie had been married in 1903.
