  General Notes:

Obituary: Harry Theodore Cook and his sister Caroline ("Carrie") Cook resided with their parents until the deaths of their father in 1923 and their mother in 1931. They continued to occupy the Cook homestead until their own deaths in 1972 and 1981. Neither married. Harry, Caroline, their parents, their brother Carl and Carl's wife are buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.

OBITUARY (Harry) from an undocumented 1972 newspaper:


Harry T. Cook, 89, of 7816 Harrison St., Davenport, died Saturday in Mercy Hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Hill & Fredericks Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

Mr. Cook was born on the farm where he resided.

He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Cook is survived by a sister, Miss Carrie Cook, with whom he resided.
