"My husband and I always thought well of Vern and like him. Tell him we wish him well and best regards. What has he done since Rose passed away? Vern and Rose visited us several times."

Lillian Allum

Services for Lillian Allum, 78, of Vandruff's Island, Milan, will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hodgson Chapel. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery.

Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Mrs. Allum died today in her home.

Lillian Weatherly was born in Missouri. She married Leroy Smith in 1922. He died in 1950. She married Charles L. Allum in 1960 in Kahoka, Missouri. He died in 1973.

Charles married Rosetta "Rose" McLAUGHLIN, daughter of William McLAUGHLIN and Mary Ann COUNIHAN, on July 3, 1918 in Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa. (Rosetta "Rose" McLAUGHLIN was born on September 30, 1892 in Dodgeville, Des Moines County, Iowa, died on November 20, 1957 in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa and was buried on November 23, 1957 in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.)

Charles next married Lillian Weatherly SMITH on August 3, 1960 in Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri. (Lillian Weatherly SMITH was born on October 27, 1896 in West Plains, Howell County, Missouri, died in November 1978 in Vandruff's Island, Milan, Rock Island County, Illinois and was buried in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island, Rock Island County, Illinois.)
