At a quiet wedding at the Christian Church at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Mabel Newman became the bride of Donald Copley. They were attended by Misses Grace Kukemo and Alice Borneman. Both young people are residents of this city. Miss Newman is the daughter of Mrs. Hilma Newman of 635 W. Buhne Street and has for the past 6 months been in the employ of a local real estate office.

Copleys Celebrate 50th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Copley, Sr., now of Clearlake Highlands, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Oct. 29. Formerly of Vallejo and Napa, they were married on that datein 1925 in Omaha, Neb.
The early years of their marriage were spent in Eureka and then in 1942 the Copleys moved to Vallejo, then later to Napa. After Mr. Copley retired from Mare Island they chose Clearlake Highlands as their home and are active members of the Moose Lodge and Grange there.
