bullet  General Notes:

Document: This is the will of Isaac Lewis, 1774-1844, in which his wife, Mary Lewis [Mary Allum Lewis], and his son, Charles W. Lewis, are designated. If other children had been born to Isaac and Mary, only Charles survived to adulthood. Mary died in 1870, thirty years before a census year (1900) included the number of children a female had birthed--and the number still living.
