Nellie O' BANNON

  General Notes:

Photo: Born in Coles County, Illinois in 1870, sometime between 1880 and 1900, Nellie migrated with her parents to Jasper County, Iowa where she met and married Hugh Elias Moffitt. Much later, in 1929, Hugh and Nellie's daughter Irene married James Raymond Guessford. Upon her death in 1940, Nellie was buried in Newton Union Cemetery, later joined by Hugh, who died twelve years later, in 1952.
