LYDA L. WALLACE

Mrs. Lyda L. Wallace, 79, wife of Thomas H. Wallace, of West Alexander, R. D. 1, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1948, at 2 p.m. at her home in Donegal Township after an illness of ten weeks.

She was born March 10, 1869, a daughter of David and Lucinda Fields Hitchcock, and had made her home two miles west of Claysville since 1911.

Mrs. Wallace was a member of Enon Baptist Church.

On Feb. 6, 1896 she was united in marriage with Thomas H. Wallace, who survives with a daughter Nellie at home and a brother, Russell Hitchcock, of Midway.

Eliza married Thomas H. WALLACE on February 6, 1896. (Thomas H. WALLACE was born in January 1872 in Pennsylvania and died after 1948.)
